Las academias militares y la inversión en ciencia en la España ilustrada (1750-1760)

Abstract

Analizar el problema de la dificil institucionalización de las academias científicas en tanto que manufacturas reales y desde la perspectiva de los problemas de orden económico y de financiación que tal empresa engendra, es el objetivo específico de este trabajo. Aquí nos reduciremos a estudiar con detalle el periodo correspondiente al reinado de Fernando VI, si bien dentro de un proyecto más amplio en el que analizaremos con amplitud este tema para todo el siglo XVIII.
