94% of ready-to-eat meal ordered in Spain ar for home, 25% of the users order once a week and 11% from two to four times. The recent boom that food delivery is having has contributed to some protocols and furniture associated to our homes have dissappeared. The limited dimension of our houses, the installed informality in our homes and food delivery itself, force the situation that objects and books get mixed in the same room —where in addition it is possible to prepare and heat up something— and le tus believe that having and equipped kitchen makes no sense anymore. The figure of women exclusively cooking for the entire family is outdated and, as consequence, the devide that it requires too. Based on a project about city and food, this communication demostrates that food is such an important element in our homes that it has shaped the space we inhabit.
