Inmunoprofilaxis de la transmisión vertical del virus de la hepatitis B

Abstract

La transmisión vertical de la hepatitis b es una de las causas más importantes de la transmisión y mantenimiento de la infección en el mundo. Actualmente es posible su prevención identificando a las gestantes de riesgo y aplicando inmunoprofilaxis a los recién nacidos. Material y método: se han estudiado 4450 gestantes determinando el ag hbs. En todas aquellas con aghbs (+) se realizaron el resto de marcadores en los rn hijos de portadora se aplico la pauta de inmunoprofilaxis. conclusiones: 1) justificamos el screening de aghbs en gestantes porque la prevalencia en Granada es de 1'53% y la mayoría de las portadoras no tienen antecedentes de riesgo. 2) los marcadores del rn en cordón son menos fiables que los realizados en talón. Los achbc y achbc hasta los 12 meses son pasivos. 3) la eficacia de la inmunoprofilaxis queda probada. 4) la revacunación de los niños sometidos a inmunoprofilaxis puede plantearse
