Influencia de la modalidad de press de banca sobre la relación carga-velocidad

Abstract

La cuantificación precisa y eficiente de la carga de entrenamiento es una de las principales preocupaciones de los profesionales y aficionados que realizan entrenamiento de fuerza. Uno de los métodos que con más empuje se está estableciendo para el control y cuantificación del entrenamiento de fuerza es el entrenamiento basado en la velocidad de ejecución. La popularidad de este método ha sido posible por la proliferación de transductores lineales de posición que, junto con otros métodos de medición, permiten evaluar la velocidad de movimiento en diferentes ejercicios de fuerza.Como conclusión general, esta tesis doctoral sugiere que la evaluación individual es preferible puesto que el perfil carga-velocidad es específico para cada sujeto. Por otra parte, independientemente de la modalidad de press de banca evaluada, la determinación individual de la relación carga-velocidad por un modelo de regresión lineal, es el método más preciso para monitorizar y prescribir la carga relativa en el ejercicio de press de banca. Del mismo modo, la velocidad media sería la variable más apropiada para monitorizar la carga relativa en el ejercicio de press de banca lanzado. Por último, se postula el uso del método de 2 puntos como un método rápido, sin fatiga y práctico para predecir la 1RM en el ejercicio de press de banca tradicional en máquina Smith.
