Abstract

El ámbito educativo europeo en materia de comunicación recoge diferentes titulaciones, objetivos y competencias profesionales. El presente artículo pretende establecer las competencias básicas en materia de comunicación, centrándonos concretamente en la titulación de Comunicación Audiovisual en España, recogida en el Libro Blanco. Se analizarán también las titulaciones equiparables con ésta en otros países europeos, que comparten las mismas competencias profesionales básicas para, finalmente, profundizar en una competencia profesional que actualmente se ha configurado como imprescindible, necesaria y esencial en el desarrollo de nuevas profesiones que han surgido en torno a la red: la alfabetización digital.
