Conflictos conceptuales entre masa y cantidad de sustancia

Abstract

Las definiciones que aparecen en los libros de texto de Educación Primaria y Educación Secundaria Obligatoria normalmente provocan confusión en la diferenciación entre masa y cantidad de sustancia. El concepto de masa sigue enseñándose erróneamente en los centros educativos, y bajo una concepción exclusivamente newtoniana. Este trabajo muestra los resultados de una revisión bibliográfica que refuerza estas ideas, y presenta nuestras futuras líneas de actuación, que pasan principalmente por proponer conceptos y definiciones de masa adecuadas para los distintos ciclos de la Educación Primaria, con posterior evaluación de su eficacia.

Les définitions des concepts de masse et quantité de substance qu'on voit d'habitude dans les manuels de Primaire et College s'avérent très troubles et empêchent de faire la différence entre ces deux concepts. On enseigne le premier d'une façon très erroné et dès un point de vue purement newtonien. Notre travail montre les résultats d'une révision bibliographique qu'appuie ces idées et suggére faire usage de certaines définitions de masse plus appropriées pour l'école primaire. La méthodologie de recherche mise à point a constaté l'éfficacité de nos propositions.
