La almunia y el palacio del Generalife
El término castellano almunia deriva del árabe munya (pl. munan) y designa al conjunto de edificaciones, huertos y jardines que, en las proximidades de las grandes ciudades de Al-Andalus y del Oriente Islámico, configuraban palacios de recreo que servían de monumentales residencias y lugar de retiro a sultanes y nobles.
