Mujer, Educación y Conservatorio: un relato de vida

Abstract

El presente estudio aborda la trayectoria educativa, laboral y social de una de las catedráticas del Conservatorio Superior de Madrid, en la especialidad de Solfeo y Teoría de la Música. De este modo, se pretende (a) discernir las relaciones entre mujer, educación y conservatorio y (b) profundizar, a través de un caso concreto, en la historia de la formación reglada en España durante el pasado siglo. La pertinencia del individuo objeto de estudio recae en el hecho de que éste ha sido, hasta 2012, el único director «mujer» de dicho centro. Así, se utiliza el relato de vida para llevar a término los objetivos planteados y, como instrumentos y técnicas de recogida de datos, se emplean la entrevista en profundidad y el análisis de documentos. Los resultados apuntan que la informante es un referente femenino tanto dentro del ámbito docente y educativo como dentro de ámbitos de gestión unipersonales.

The present paper studies about the social, labour and educational career path of one of the professors of the High Conservatoire of Madrid, in the speciality of Solfeggio and Music Theory. So, it is tried (a) to discern, the relations among woman, education and conservatoire and (b) to delve, across an specific case, into the history of the ruled training in Spain during the last century. The particularity of the individual object to study falls on the fact that it has been, until 2012, the only female director of the above mentioned centre. Thus, to get the planned goals, it has been used the statement of life, and as instruments and techniques of data collection, there has been used in-depth interview and analysis of documents. The results aim that the informant is a female role model so much from a professional and educational context as from one-person management contexts.
