Relaciones intergeneracionales: Abuelo favorito

Abstract

En la actualidad el papel de los abuelos ha cambiado con respecto a tiempos anteriores puesto que realizan tareas de cuidado en mayor medida y pasan más tiempo con sus respectivos nietos, debido principalmente a motivos relacionados con el trabajo de los padres junto con la incorporación de la mujer al mercado laboral y los nuevos modelos de familia entre otros factores. Por ello la meta principal de este trabajo es analizar dicho vínculo establecido entre nietos y abuelos para ver qué tipo de relación existe entre ambos como fruto de los cambios acontecidos, enfocándolo desde el punto de vista del abuelo favorito y teniendo en cuenta diversos aspectos de la relación como las actividades que realizan juntos, la función que desempeña el abuelo, las emociones que se generan en los nietos, la importancia que éstos le dan a su ascendiente favorito…
