Abstract

El trabajo que se presenta a continuación va orientado a trabajar la psicomotricidad en los niños con Síndrome de Down a través de un programa de intervención. Se estudia la importancia que tiene la psicomotricidad en la intervención educativa en este tipo de alumnado y como puede repercutir en su vida. Además abordaremos el espacio multisensorial, para trabajar el área motora de los niños con Síndrome de Down, considerándolo el recurso por excelencia para potenciar las habilidades y capacidades motrices de estos niños. Para finalizar plasmaremos una serie de actividades encaminadas a mejorar el desarrollo motor.
