La inclusión de estudiantes con discapacidad en educación superior chilena: Factores favorecedores y obstaculizadores para su acceso y permanencia

Abstract

El objetivo general de la presente Tesis Doctoral es conocer las principales barreras y factores favorecedores de la inclusión de estudiantes con discapacidad en la Educación Superior Chilena. Para ello se proponen tres objetivos específicos. El primero es analizar los actuales procesos de acceso y apoyo a la permanencia del estudiantado con discapacidad existentes en la Educación Superior Chilena. El segundo es explorar el estado personal/emocional (en variables como el autoconcepto, ansiedad y depresión) de universitarios en situación de discapacidad, en comparación con sus pares sin discapacidad. Y el tercero es describir las actitudes hacia personas con discapacidad por parte del estudiantado de la Universidad de Concepción (Chile). Todo con el propósito de ofrecer un diagnóstico psicosocial actualizado del estado en que se halla este colectivo y proponer acciones de mejora en los procesos de inclusión que llevan a cabo las instituciones de Educación Superior Chilenas.
