Perfiles de dificultad en la deslexia evolutiva: lectura imprecisa vs. lectura no fluida

Abstract

Una de las finalidades de la evaluación de las dificultades en la lectura es determinar los objetivos que deberá alcanzar la intervención. En ese sentido, es fundamental la utilización de un instrumento de evaluación que ofrezca un perfil lo más detallado posible de las dificultades lectoras que presenta un niño. El test LEE (Lectura y Escritura en Español) es una prueba que ofrece la posibilidad de valorar tanto la precisión como la velocidad lectora y la fluidez; además, permite realizar un análisis cualitativo de los errores cometidos. En esta presentación se analizan dos casos de niños con dislexia evolutiva de 3º de Educación Primaria que han sido evaluados con este test. Los resultados muestran que estos dos casos, a pesar de presentar la misma Dificultad Específica de Aprendizaje de la Lectura (DEAL), evidenciada por una baja puntuación, muestran patrones de lectura muy diferentes. El caso A se caracteriza por errores de precisión como, por ejemplo, sustituciones, inversiones, rotaciones y lexicalizaciones. Sin embargo, el caso B muestra una lectura precisa pero caracterizada por mucho silabeo, rectificaciones y vacilaciones. A partir de los perfiles de lectura específicos, observados gracias al instrumento de evaluación utilizado, se proponen unas pautas de intervención adaptadas a cada caso.
