Abstract

Dique en talud con geometría de máxima estabilidad. Dique rompeolas en talud para protección de obras marítimas y fluviales, lacustres y en embalses, cuyo manto principal está constituido por tres regiones: una primera región inferior o de pié del talud, en la que el oleaje se peralta y refleja; una segunda región central o disipadora, en la que el oleaje rompe y se produce la disipación de la energía por rotura, principalmente en voluta; y una tercera región superior o de oscilación, en la que se produce la oscilación libre del flujo debido a la ola rota. Los elementos, naturales o artificiales, que forman el manto principal del citado talud están colocados en capas según dos líneas principales de ángulos que varían con el plano de agua a lo largo del perfil del manto principal del dique.
