El objeto del artículo es resaltar los trastornos en la voz, disfunción a menudo olvidada pese a sus incidencias; y tras poner de manifiesto la heterogeneidad casuística y etiológica de los mismos, se proponen pautas genéricas para su valoración e intervención en el ámbito escolar, lo cual incluye intervención escolar, logopédica y familiar. El hecho de que se presenten de forma genérica se justifica por la convicción de que dichas pautas y actividades deben ser adaptadas a cada caso particular, en función de sus características intrínsecas, tanto del trastorno en sí como de otros aspectos del alumno, y extrínsecas, es decir, de los contextos familiar, escolar y social, para el diseño de un programa personalizado de intervención.
This article aims at highlighting the voice disorders which are often sidestepped in spite of their effects. We firstly state the heterogeneity and etiology of voice disorders, and then we propose generic models for its assessment and intervention in schools. In addition, this comprises school, speech therapy and family intervention. We firmly believe that generic models and activities should be adapted to each subject in particular bearing in mind intrinsic features both deriving from the disorder itself and from other characteristics of the student. In addition, we should also consider extrinsic characteristics such as familiar, school and social contexts to devise an individualized program of intervention.
