El léxico del primer liberalismo español y mejicano : (1810-1814) estudio de lexicología sociopolítica

Abstract

La investigación titulada el léxico del primer liberalismo español y mejicano, abarca el periodo cronológico 1810-1814, en el que se desarrollan, tanto en la vieja, como en la nueva España, las primeras experiencias constitucionales de corte liberal. Con ellos se ha tratado de describir el vocabulario político del momento y el contraste entre las modalidades lingüísticas peninsular y ultramarina. Así el análisis léxico y el contraste entre las modalidades lingüísticas española y mejicana, nos ha permitido descubrir que, a principios del XIX, se acuña, en gran medida, el vocabulario político del español moderno. Esto ocurre tanto por la incorporación de neologismos de filiación francesa e inglesa, como por creaciones léxicas castizas. La investigación consta de ocho capítulos en los que se analizan los principales conceptos políticos del primer liberalismo español y mejicana y la forma en que estos se expresan. en cada uno de ellos, se estudia el conjunto de palabras que se halla emparentado, desde el punto de vista semántico, con el concepto en cuestión
