Inmunidad humoral y celular en alcohólicos crónicos con y sin hepatopatía

Abstract

La investigación de los mecanismos inmunitarios en alcohólicos crónicos sin hepatopatia ha sido poco estudiada hasta ahora. El objetivo del presente trabajo ha sido 1 estudiar la inmunidad humoral y celular en alcohólicos crónicos y sin hepatopatia. 2 relacionar las posibles alteraciones inmunitarias con la ingesta de alcohol. 3 comparar los resultados obtenidos en alcohólicos con y sin cirrosis hepática. Para ello se han estudiado 73 pacientes varones, 58 sin hepatopatia y 15 con cirrosis hepática. Los resultados que hemos obtenido son: que el vcm y la ggt han mostrado un aumento relacionado con el consumo de alcohol. El índice got/gpt no sirve como marcador de alcoholismo. La inmunoglobulina m aumenta significativamente en los alcohólicos sin hepatopatia. Los linfocitos okt 8 desciende significativamente en alcohólicos crónicos con y sin hepatopatia. El índice t 4/ t 8 aumenta significativamente en los pacientes alcohólicos. Además, estos presentan un descenso en los índices de estimulación linfocitaria con mitogenos. Las alteraciones encontradas en los alcohólicos preceden al desarrollo de cirrosis hepática y pueden estar implicadas en su aparición. Las alteraciones inmunitarias pueden sugerir un mecanismo autoinmune en la aparición de hepatopatia alcohólica.
