Abstract

Kit de obturación de cavidades dentales con resina compuesta. El objeto de la invención es mejorar la interfase diente-restauración en las cavidades obturadas con resina compuesta. Se fabrican pequeños bloques de composite que tras ser almacenados en contenedores a temperaturas por debajo de la ambiental, son insertados en una base composite aplicada previamente en una cavidad dental de modo convencional, desplazando parte del material de base, para proceder a la polimerización final de la restauración. Cuando el material enfriado alcance la temperatura intraoral (37ºC), este experimentará una expansión térmica que constrarreste en parte la contracción de polimerización de los composites mediante la expansión térmica de las áreas de la restauración previamente enfriadas, y mediante la reducción de la cantidad de material polimerizable. Disminuye así la filtración marginal de las restauraciones de resina compuesta, como alternativa a las realizadas con técnicas convencionales
