The development of interactive and cooperative learning environments for mathematics remains an insufficiently addressed issue in Chile. Declining results in national and international assessments highlight the limitations of traditional methodologies, which hinder students' competence development. Consequently, this study aims to integrate board games featuring narratives that blend reality and fiction from an interdisciplinary perspective. The research follows a qualitative paradigm, incorporating ethnomethodology and symbolic interactionism. The findings reveal that students engage cooperatively, responding positively to the game’s mechanics, enhancing mathematical visibility, fostering interdependence, and stimulating cognitive development. The study concludes that cooperation facilitates the appropriation of didactic strategies, with teacher mediation playing a pivotal role in problem-solving.
