Authors: López-Guzmán Guzmán, Rafael Jesús;

Abstract

The Mexican historian Francisco de la Maza came to Spain in 1956 to study the Baroque of Castile and Andalusia. This text examines his journey through Andalusia and the aesthetic and comparative analyses he made of the architecture located in the main Baroque enclaves, based on his own conception of Baroque and always with the architecture developed during the same period in the Viceroyalty of New Spain as his horizon.
