Abstract

La preocupación por el entorno ha estado presente en la humanidad por las diferentes generaciones y los problemas ambientales actuales, constituyen una preocupación política, económica y social, dependiendo su solución de la existencia humana. Teniendo en cuenta las insuficiencias ambientales identificadas en la comunidad, provocadas por la acción del hombre, y sus conductas incorrectas, lo que manifiesta carencia de conocimientos ambientales de la población. Es una investigación cualicuantitativa, pues conjuga métodos y técnicas cuantitativas y cualitativas. El enfoque metodológico que se asume para el desarrollo de la investigación es el dialéctico-materialista, en su carácter de base metodológica universal del conocimiento científico, lo cual permitió constatar la pertinencia del resultado científico aportado. La estrategia propicia el incremento del conocimiento, el sentido de pertenencia y responsabilidad ambiental de la población, y facilita una mejor calidad de vida. Es valorada la factibilidad de la estrategia de educación ambiental, sobre la base del criterio de usuario, mediante la técnica IADOV.

Concern for the environment has been present in humanity for different generations and current environmental problems constitute a political, economic and social concern, and their solution depends on human existence. Taking into account the environmental deficiencies identified in the community, caused by the action of man and his incorrect behavior, which shows the lack of environmental knowledge of the population. It is a qualitative-quantitative research, since it combines quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques. The methodological approach assumed for the development of the research is dialectical-materialist, in its character of universal methodological basis of scientific knowledge, which allowed to verify the relevance of the scientific result provided. The strategy promotes the increase of knowledge, the sense of belonging and environmental responsibility of the population, and facilitates a better quality of life. The feasibility of the environmental education strategy is assessed, based on the user's criteria, through the IADOV technique.
