Abstract

Abstract: This research work analyzes the educational use of Scratch, a visual programming environment, within the context of Compulsory Secondary Education. Drawing from the experience of a teacher in STEAM subjects, it explores Scratch's potential to promote computational thinking, creativity, and interdisciplinarity. Various classroom projects are presented, such as the creation of video games, electronic musical instruments, and visual representations of mathematical concepts, all assessed using a rubric encompassing pedagogical, technical, and innovative dimensions. The results highlight Scratch's effectiveness as an inclusive and motivating tool, aligned with constructivist approaches and the STEAM paradigm, and its capacity to contribute to the development of key competencies in students.
