Abstract

Los medios escogen los acontecimientos que debe ser glorificados y también aquellos a los que hay que quitar importancia. Estados Unidos ha jugado a gusto con sus aliados Saddam Husseim, fue a su tiempo aliado durante la guerra entre Irán e Irak y luego su perseguido; Noriega, en Panamá, otro quien además de recibir incondicional apoyo,fue ignorado de sus cuestionables actividades para luego caer en desgraacia. Igual aconteció con Ferdinand Marcos en las Filipinas;el Shah y la emperatriz Farah de Irán. Esto sucede a través del poder que ejercen los medios de comunicación, la cortina gruesa de estrechez mental que ha venido encegueciendo las masas, cada vez más espesa para ocultar la realidad con campañas de desinformación que los medios montan.
