Agrotóxicos son el flagelo de los agricultores

Abstract

El artículo obtuvo el Premio Interamericano de Prensa sobre Medio ambiente en la categoría Diarios y Agencias Internacionales de noticias (1993). Refiere el impacto negativo de los agrotóxicos en una zona del Brasil que sustenta su economía en la agricultura. La ignorancia de su uso adecuado de estos productos ha puesto en riesgo el abastecimiento del agua y generado constantes perturbaciones físicas en los trabajadores, y en ocasiones provocando la muerte.
