Abstract

Clinical question of research: What is the degree of satisfaction that male amateurs of the Catalan Basketball Federation have with the rehabilitation process received after an intervention of Anterior Cruciate Ligament: higher in centers arranged by the mutual or major in centers outside of it? Objective: To carry out a study project to observe the differences in satisfaction depending on where the players have received the rehabilitation of an Anterior Cruciate Ligament. Create an action protocol to initiate readaptation in amateur basketball players tapped from LCA. Methodology: Project for the realization of an observational pilot study of transversal style of retroactive character, since it is based on the analysis of the rehabilitation that the subjects have already carried out. A total of n=28 male amateurs between 20 and 30 years of age will participate, who will play sport between 2 and 3 days a week and are operated by ACL. They will be divided into two groups, one consisting of 14 players treated in centers arranged by the Mutual of the Federation, and 14 players treated in centers outside the Mutual. The selection of the subjects will be done in a randomized way, and the participating subjects will be passed a satisfaction questionnaire where they will be asked about the human treatment received, the physiotherapeutic treatment and the final result obtained. If such a study were to be carried out, the Federation would be informed of the results obtained, so that they could take the decisions they deemed appropriate or to increase the data with other studies.
