Aragón trilingüe: el futuro de las lenguas minoritarias en la escuela

Abstract

En los últimos veinte años, y como consecuencia directa de la aprobación de la Constitución de 1978, el Estado español se ha convertido en un auténtico laboratorio vivo para el análisis de los efectos de la educación bilingüe. La experiencia acumulada en este tiempo permite cierto optimismo que avala, globalmente, el camino emprendido. En este marco constitucional, el actual discurso sociopolítico aragonés parece abrir vías para afrontar de una manera definitiva la cuestión de sus minorías lingüísticas y, más concretamente, para la incorporación de las lenguas minoritarias a nuestro sistema educativo. Con tales perspectivas, en este artículo se revisa el concepto de educación bilingüe y se establece una tipología de la misma que, una vez contextualizada en el ámbito aragonés, nos orienta a proponer líneas de actuación optimizadoras y más acordes con la realidad plurilingüe y pluricultural de nuestra Comunidad.
