Abstract

PREGUNTA CLÍNICA: ¿Es más efectiva la crioterapia en adición a un programa de estiramientos que un único programa de estiramientos como tratamiento de la espasticidad de la mano hemipléjica en pacientes que han sufrido un Accidente Cerebrovascular (ACV)? OBJETIVO: valorar la efectividad de la crioterapia como tratamiento de la espasticidad de la mano hemipléjica en pacientes que han sufrido un ACV. METODOLOGÍA: se realizará un ensayo clínico aleatorizado. La muestra se reclutará de forma consecutiva entre el 1 de enero de 2016 y el 30 de junio de 2016 en el servicio de rehabilitación de los hospitales Arnau de Vilanova y Santa María. El grupo control realizará como tratamiento un programa de estiramientos; y el grupo experimental recibirá un tratamiento que consistirá en la aplicación de crioterapia más el mismo programa de estiramientos. La valoración de la espasticidad se realizará mediante la escala de Ashworth modificada.
