El medio ecológico en plantaciones frutales

Abstract

Dentro del estudio de la Fruticultura, la acción del medio ecológico en las plantaciones frutales es una parte básica integrada en la denominada "Fruticultura General". El estudiante debe conocer los factores del medio ecológico y la influencia que tienen sobre el desarrollo de las plantas y sobre el manejo de la plantación frutal. A partir de esta formación básica, luego podrá profundizar en aspectos particulares de cada especie y adquirir el conocimiento suficiente para abordar la planificación y la gestión del cultivo. Este libro, junto con las anteriores Monografías 5, 6 y 7 de esta misma serie, forma parte del programa de la asignatura "Fruticultura" (9 créditos y duración anual) que se imparte en tercer curso del Grado en Ingeniería Agraria y Alimentaria, en la especialidad de Hortofruticultura y Jardinería, en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Agraria de la Universidad de Lleida. En el libro se ha tratado de plasmar el conocimiento generalizado de los diferentes temas, de una forma sencilla y fácil de comprender, y sin incluir datos excesivos. En el texto de cada apartado no se dan referencias a autores y a trabajos de investigación, salvo que sea imprescindible. No obstante, se recomienda al final de cada capítulo una bibliografía específica sobre los aspectos tratados. Asimismo, dentro de la sencillez, se ha procurado mantener un nivel científico-técnico adecuado.
