Desenvolvimento cognitivo e percurso escolar

Abstract

O objectivo principal deste trabalho é o de relacionar os dados obtidos através de uma prova de desenvolvimento cognitivo (ECDL) com o aproveitamento escolar. Utilizou-se uma amostra de 252 alunos, do 5.º ao 9.º ano de escolaridade. Existe uma evolução do desenvolvimento cognitivo em função da idade; uma análise mais fina permite identificar três padrões para este mesmo desenvolvimento, que se diferenciam pelo seu ritmo. Mostramos ainda algumas relações entre sucesso escolar e desenvolvimento cognitivo.
