Abstract

Evaluation is a constant and often innate activity, present even in the simplest tasks and predominantly in formal education. It is a practice to which every human being, activity, object and situation is subjected. The document presented here is an internship report about my work experience with the Projecto Metas de Aprendizagem (Learning Outcomes Project), coordinated by the Institute of Education, University of Lisbon. This curriculum project aims at defining learning outcomes both for primary and for secondary education, as well as presenting teaching and evaluation strategies as a support for the project implementation. Within the context of the internship I had the opportunity to develop a research-intervention project, aiming at understanding the perceptions of the various actors involved about the Learning Outcomes Project, in general, and the assessment strategies presented, in particular. The results and the conclusions of the study as well as a final reflexion on my internship experience are also presented.
