Abstract

Ce mémoire présente le développement théorique du projet de long métrage intitulé A Outra Margem et se divise en sept parties, dont une introduction abordant les principaux enjeux du texte et les considérations finales. Dans le premier chapitre, Cidade-Memória, je présente une relation entre l'espace et la formation des mémoires à partir de l’allusion du terme lieu de mémoire à la culture populaire de la ville de Belo Horizonte, au Brésil. Dans le deuxième chapitre, Cidade-Espelho, je propose des relations entre le processus de construction des villes et la construction de l'identité personnelle d'un individu qui y est inséré. Dans le troisième chapitre, Cidade-Cinema, je relie l’idée de production d’espace dans le cinéma avec celle dans la ville. Finalement, dans le quatrième et le cinquième chapitres, Diálogos I et II, je présente respectivement les intentions et l’approche dont j’entends filmer le long-métrage susmentionné, soit un film essai
