Sarampo, VASPR e surdez

Abstract

The following work has the purpose of collecting and resume the available information about the measles virus, the MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) vaccine and the connection of both with deafness, with the intent of clarifying and building a basis for parents, caretakers and health workers to be more informed about this connection in order to give a fast and effective treatment to the involved population. With that being said, I will approach the virology of measles, clinical syndrome, complications, epidemiology, measles vaccine development and the relation between deafness and measles.
