Vertigem alternobárica

Abstract

The act of diving is a practice carried out since centuries ago both by men and women for various purposes such as feeding, repairing ships, observing marine life, military actions. This systematic review of the literature seeks to make it known the pathophysiology of alternobaric vertigo, ways to prevent its occurrence as well as some general notions of diving (diving types, diving physiology). Due to the close relationship with diving activity, during this work we will focus on the middle and inner ear making a brief anatomical description of the structures as well as the physiology of balance.
