Abstract

As ideias apresentadas neste texto resultam da reflexão que temos vindo a fazer, de há alguns anos a esta parte, sobre os objectivos e o modo como as tecnologias de informação e comunicação (TIC) podem ser integradas no currículo escolar. Decorrem, por outro lado, de forma mais próxima, do trabalho que recentemente pudemos desenvolver no âmbito do projecto “Metas de Aprendizagem” do Ministério da Educação. Projecto que tinha como finalidade a explicitação das “Metas de Aprendizagem” nas diferentes áreas curriculares / disciplinares e que viria a permitir que também as aprendizagens associadas às TIC, pela primeira vez no nosso País, fossem consideradas de forma integrada para os diferentes níveis que compõem a escolaridade, incluindo a educação pré-escolar. É uma síntese das ideias que presidiram ao trabalho desenvolvido pela equipa que coordenámos, e do produto a que se chegou (proposta de metas de aprendizagem na área das TIC), que aqui apresentamos. A análise crítica que o leitor possa realizar das metas de aprendizagem entretanto divulgadas oficialmente pelo Ministério da Educação através do site da Direcção-Geral de Inovação e Desenvolvimento Curricular (www.metasdeaprendizagem.min-edu.pt), em particular a análise cuidada das metas da área das TIC, será o complemento natural necessário para a compreensão e discussão que se pretende estimular em torno da proposta a que se chegou.

The ideas presented in this paper come from the reflection we have been doing for some years now on how the technologies of information and communication technology (ICT) can be integrated into school curriculum and from the work that we recently developed under the project "Metas de Aprendizagem” (Learning Goals), a project of the Portuguese Ministry of Education. A project that aimed to identify the learning standards for the different curriculum subject areas and that would allow us to consider the learning associated with digital technologies in an integrated way (scope and sequence) for the first time in Portugal for all the different levels of the education, including preschool education. It is a synthesis of the ideas which governed the work undertaken by the team we coordinated and the product that has been reached (proposal learning goals with ICT) that is presented in this paper. We recommend the review of that proposal, yet officially released (www.metasdeaprendizagem.min-edu.pt), to allow a better understanding and further discussion about it.
