Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the burnout relationship with the characteristics of work, particularly with overwork and autonomy, is mediated by work-family conflict (CTF), in a female population of shift workers. The sample consisted of 480 workers in rotating shifts (between 9h and 24h) in commerce stores. In this study we found a significant positive relationship between the variables that are related to the literature. However, this effect was not observed with regard to the variable autonomy which was shown to have little significance in this study.
