Abstract

Sendo as infraestruturas de apoio aos transportes públicos essenciais à sua operação as interfaces assumem um papel fundamental na rede, sendo estas infraestruturas que completam a rede e adicionam à rede de transportes uma maior acessibilidade e conetividade, de maneira que as interfaces assumem um papel fundamental na cidade. A presente dissertação realiza uma análise as interfaces na Área Metropolitana de Lisboa e incluindo as áreas da cidade que se encontram nas proximidades das interfaces, aspetos importantes pelas formas como tornam as interfaces mais atrativas e acessíveis aos utentes dos transportes. Para a realização da análise as interfaces e das suas áreas envolventes foi adaptado o método TOD Standard. Este método avalia as áreas envolventes às interfaces e foi escolhido para esta dissertação, com a finalidade de entender quais as interfaces que melhor exercem uma função urbana na cidade e as que melhor contribuem para uma melhoria na acessibilidade e conetividade dos transportes, que tem como reflexo a melhoria da utilização dos transportes públicos. A dissertação está estruturada em quatro capítulos. No primeiro capítulo é discutido o seu conceito e é abordada a função que as interfaces desempenham numa cidade. No segundo capítulo é analisada a mobilidade na AML e o movimento nos interfaces. No terceiro capítulo é realizada a análise das interfaces. A dissertação termina com apresentação das conclusões retiradas do estudo.

Infrastructure that support public transport is essential for is operations, and the interfaces has a key role in the network, completing, and adding the greater accessibility and connectivity to transport network, and at same time interfaces play a fundamental role in a city. This master’s thesis develops an analysis of the interfaces in Lisbon Metropolitan Area (LMA) and is role on public transport perform and their attractiveness and urban function. To perform the analysis of interfaces and its surrounding areas has been chosen the method of TOD Standard. This method assesses the surrounding areas of interface. In order to understand which interfaces best perform an urban function and transport connectivity. The dissertation is structured in four chapters. The first chapter discussed the concept and the role that of interfaces in a city. The second chapter analysis LMA mobility and interfaces traffics. The third chapter is performed the analysis of interfaces. The dissertation concludes in the fourth chapter with presentation of conclusion from the study.
