Comportamento anti-social e delinquência na adolescência

Abstract

Anti-social behavior is defined as a violation of social standards and established patterns. This type of behavior is influenced by a number of risk factors, from which are most relevant those that relate to the family, with the socio-economic context and biological mechanisms. How this sort of conduct evolves and the kind of action that characterizes it leads us to the concept of delinquency and to the legal perspective that these acts fit. Therefore, this paper also discusses the journey from the anti-social behavior until the delinquency, the different paths we can find and behavioral differences between female and male gender. Finally, it will be made an approach of data on delinquency in Portugal and given some suggestions on prevention strategies in this area.
