Idades, identidades e solidão

Abstract

O que proponho é um convite à reflexão em torno de uma ideia que persegue duas hipóteses de investigação: por um lado, a de poderem ocorrer crises de identidade provocadas por disritmias entre expectativas ou planos de vida e trajectórias ou percursos de vida; por outro lado, contempla-se a hipótese de as ansiedades de idade daí resultantes poderem aparecer associadas a sentimentos de solidão. Em que circunstâncias? Em situações de vida marcadas por uma fragilização de laços sociais. À boleia desta ideia, surge mais uma outra que aponta para uma necessária precisão do conceito sociológico de solidão. O que se sugere é que a solidão é um sentimento que resulta de desencontros sociais. O sentimento da solidão flui num leito (solus) ladeado por laços e desenlaces de solidariedade (Pais, 2008). Assim sendo, em diferentes fases de vida, em diferentes idades, a fuga à solidão passa pela superação dos desencontros que a produzem.
