Abstract

Abstract: We live in a metropolitan environment of permanent consumption, where citizens present themselves as people socially conscious, taking advantage of an individual autonomy and freedom in order to build up their own identity and personality. Thus, they define in a particular manner their tastes and aesthetic profiles, as well as the way to be in a social and cultural environment. Living in an increasingly singular society, where pleasure and well-being are highly privileged, it is essential to understand what is the true emotional nature associated with consumption behavior trends in the field of fashion. Being the emotions the original point starting for motivational states that leads human beings to action, it is necessary to study these brain processes and their typologies, including to what extent these ones are associated with the consumption of certain brands in the market. Thus, it’s intended to perform an analysis of consumption profiles in order to understand how the consumer behavior is induced by the communication strategies used by Lovemarks, i.e., brands that emphasize a direct contact with customers, the transmission of values, experiences and striking emotions. This will understand, through a case of study, what emotions are experienced by customers when they think and consume this type of brands.
