A presente dissertação contextualiza a integração econômica no MERCOSUL, em particular, a harmonização tributária. O tema se apresenta complexo e bastante discutido em seus diferentes pontos de vista, seja na área econômica, fiscal ou na contextualização destes fatores para o fortalecimento da estrutura institucional do bloco. Haja vista os recentes acontecimentos e modificações que ocorreram na estrutura do bloco econômico, assim como todos os desafios que merceram relavância para esta obra, ilustrando sempre o tema na perspectiva do fortalecimento das instituições da Comunidade Sul-Americana.

This essay contextualizes the economic integration in MERCOSUR, in particular, tax harmonization. The complex topic is presented and widely discussed at different points of view, whether in economic, fiscal or in the context of these factors to strengthen the structure institutional block. Considering all the recent events and changes that one sees for the future, as well as all the challenges that were addressed in this work, seeing where evidence of the formation of a South American Community.
