Gianni Avon : Architetture a Lignano 1954-1974

Abstract

Not only does tracing Gianni Avon’s profile through his works mean retracing his life, but it also means revisiting the mile-stones of our local history, our culture, and our identity. At the same time, it enriches that cultural and human heritage which forms the bedrock of our community, both locally and regionally. In this volume, the evolution of Avon’s style is inextricably interwoven with the historical narrative of a blossoming Lignano, a town that reinvented itself to become Friuli’s most famous sea-side resort.
