This book address problems and debates develloped inside the Master's Program in Human Rights Defense, taught at the Autonomous University of Chiapas. This program aims to promote multidisciplinary reflection on the challenges facing human rights in the country, and particularly in the State of Chiapas. At the same time, efforts are being made to publicize studies of the multiple violations of these rights that occur in the local context, which is necessary to understand the complex articulations and power relations established with the central government.
