Paesaggio vs Simulacro

Abstract

La città, soprattutto se osservata ad una certa distanza, comunica l’appartenenza a uno specifico progetto che è il risultato dell’attività costruttoria di una comunità insediata e si sostanzia in un diverso rapporto tra tessutoe architetture certe, e quest’ultime sono importanti perché generano riferimenti duraturi e condivisi. Quando a causa della lontananza il vedere dello sguardo si fa impreciso, sfumato e indeterminato, tutto appare più chiaro grazie al vedere del pensiero e della memoria. Le città nella loro realtà materiale, da lontano, si fondono con l’apparenza, un’apparenza ogni volta diversa, espressione della memoria collettiva di chi le abita. Ogni città è, allo stesso tempo, infinite città, quante sono le visioni che la rappresentano. Non importa che la rappresentazione sia oggettiva e riproduca con fedeltà l’originale, la vera essenza della città, risiede nella sua descrizione sintetica, nel paesaggio.
