Il contributo fa il punto sulla formazione universitaria nel campo dei beni culturali, evidenziando il progressivo depauperamento degli ambiti inerenti, in particolare, il patrimonio archivistico e bibliotecario, attraverso un esame dei dati MIUR e la comparazione dell'offerta formativa degli atenei. Viene evidenziato il nesso indispensabile tra la formazione specialistica e la possibilità di tutelare e valorizzare, consentire l'accessibilità e rendere 'pubblico' il patrimonio - secondo l'istanza che proviene da più parti, e che riguarda l'intero patrimonio culturale nelle sue varie forme e declinazioni -, facendone oggetto di una reale condivisione, necessariamente mediata dagli specialisti e dei curatori delle raccolte.

The contribution takes stock of university education in the field of cultural heritage, highlighting the progressive depletion of the areas inherent, in particular, the archival and library heritage, through an examination of the MIUR data and the comparison of the educational offer of the universities. The indispensable link between specialist training and the possibility of protecting and enhancing, allowing accessibility and making the heritage 'public' is highlighted - according to the request that comes from many parts, and which concerns the entire cultural heritage in its various forms and variations - making it the subject of a real sharing, necessarily mediated by the specialists and curators of the collections.
