In den letzten Jahrzehnten haben sich Museen grundlegend gewandelt. Heute stehen sie vor der Herausforderung, ihre Rolle als Orte der Wissensvermittlung und gesellschaftlicher Teilhabe neu zu definieren. Sie sind schon lange nicht mehr nur Ausstellungsräume, sondern auch Orte der Erfahrung, des Austauschs, des Lernens und des gesellschaftlichen Dialogs. Das vorliegende Themenheft von Scripta Manent befasst sich mit neuen Kommunikationsformaten im Museumsbereich. Ziel ist es, einen Überblick über ihre diachrone Entwicklung unter Berücksichtigung der jeweiligen historisch-politischen und sozialen Gegebenheiten zu geben und einen umfassenden Einblick in die Arten dieser Formate sowie deren Einsatz beim Erlernen des Deutschen als Fremdsprache zu vermitteln.
Negli ultimi decenni i musei hanno subito una trasformazione radicale. Oggi si trovano ad affrontare la sfida di ridefinire il proprio ruolo di luoghi di trasmissione del sapere e di partecipazione sociale. Da tempo non sono più solo spazi espositivi, ma anche luoghi di esperienza, scambio, apprendimento e dialogo sociale. Il presente numero tematico di Scripta Manent si occupa dei nuovi formati di comunicazione nel settore museale. L’obiettivo è di fornire una panoramica del loro sviluppo diacronico, tenendo conto delle rispettive condizioni storico-politiche e sociali, e di offrire una visione completa dei tipi di questi formati e del loro utilizzo nell’apprendimento del tedesco come lingua straniera.
Museums have undergone fundamental changes in recent decades. Today, they face the challenge of redefining their role as places of knowledge transfer and social participation. They have long since ceased to be mere exhibition spaces and have become places of experience, exchange, learning, and social dialogue. This special issue of Scripta Manent deals with new communication formats in the museum sector. The aim is to provide an overview of their diachronic development, taking into account the respective historical, political, and social circumstances, and to provide a comprehensive insight into the features of these formats and their use in learning German as a foreign language.
