Abstract

L'articolo consta di un excursus attraverso la letteratura tedesca di tre secoli, incardinandosi sul tipo e sulla modalita' della rappresentazione delle Alpi in testi in prosa e poetici. Questa analisi incrocia anche le teorie estetiche sul bello e sul sublime espresse da Burke, Kant, Hegel e da altri filosofi a cavallo tra Sette- e Ottocento. Vengono qui considerati anche alcuni testi della letteratura odeporica del bacino culturale di lingua tedesca.
