The friendship between Carlo Rosselli and Ernesto Rossi, grown in the Florentine environment and strongly influenced by the presence of Gaetano Salvemini, represents a pivotal event in the history of Antifascism: besides being at the roots of the birth of "Giustizia e Libertà", such friendship was the basis for the debate on the concepts of Liberalism, liberism, Socialism, Europe. In the struggle against Fascism and in the devotion to his memory such a relationship outlasted even the tragical death of Carlo Rosselli.

L'amicizia tra Carlo Rosselli ed Ernesto Rossi, maturata nell'ambiente fiorentino e fortemente influenzata dalla presenza di Gaetano Salvemini, rappresenta un momento centrale nella storia dell'antifascismo, non solo per la nascita di "Giustizia e Libertà", ma anche per la discussione sui concetti di liberalismo, liberismo, socialismo, Europa.
