Abstract

A vision of "Os Prisioneiros" and their relationship to the "drama" in "Douglas Sirk". More concretely, with one of his biggest adaptations to the cinema. In fact, other equally remarkable adaptations by the filmmaker will be referred here. This is followed by a comparison of the first adaptation with the practical part of the project in question, which is also an adaptation, whose narrative is a reflection on the "involuntary servitude” (and sometimes voluntary) of the characters in what concerns " Love ". There is undoubtedly the evidence inherent in "Safo" "poetry" ― a key influence in the conception of this feature film ― but it is also introduced at the end of the film, thus serving as a "reflection". Finally, the global conclusion focused on the elements of drama/melodrama present (or not) in the two films will conclude an entire project
