A empregabilidade dos cursos profissionais de turismo

Abstract

Portugal has been focusing on professional education not as an alternative to regular education but as a partner, a viable alternative, taking into account that the preparation of assets in the second case is very time consuming. There are several professional courses that the Ministry of Education set up, enabling a variety of new technical and also enabling young students to dual certification - a certificate of completion of the 12th grade and certified technician certain area. One of the courses taught in level III course is the Professional Technician Tourism which has been taught in vocational schools and secondary public education. The questions concerning this study are interconnected with the employability of the same, as a reflection of the effort of students, teachers and schools. It is important to understand whether this training is responding to market demands and employability of this course in particular is positive thus justifying the levy and integrative role of national institutions.
