Abstract

A segurança é um pilar fundamental dos Estados. Neste domínio, os Estados têm as suas Forças Armadas, por forma a assegurar a sua soberania contra qualquer ameaça externa, e as suas Forças de Segurança, como garantia da segurança interna. O setor da segurança privada surge-nos, assim, da necessidade sentida pelos Estados de um complemento à ação das suas Forças de Segurança.
