Inibidores de tirosinase e novas técnicas laboratoriais de separação de produtos naturais bioactivos

Abstract

The hiperpigmentation of the skin results from the deregulation of the activity of tyrosinase, the key enzyme of the melanogenesis, causes aesthetic problems and a significant psychological impact on the individual (Koo,2012; Yen,et al., 2012). The understanding the regulation of melanogénese, particulary of the tyrosinase activity, is of great interest to the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry. Thus, the research for new tyrosinase inhibitors, from natural and/or synthetic origin, which prove to be effective in the treatment of hyperpigmentation is extremely relevant. The objective of this study aims to briefly address the new laboratory techniques of separation of bioactive natural products, including hyphenated techniques and the biochromatography, powerful analytical tools in the screening and structural identification of the natural products that may be in future prove to be commercialized as tyrosine inhibitors.
